I'm aiming to raise money for the Sydney Children's Hospital Foundation by signing up to the Pedal 4 Kids charity bike ride on Friday 10 May. In 2013 Pedal 4 Kids aims to attract 100 cyclists and raise over $100,000 to make a difference in the lives of seriously ill and injured children treated at Sydney Children's Hospital, Randwick. Please help us get there!

The need for community support is urgent...

• 313,000 occaisions of specialist care is provided each year through the Hospital's Inpatient, Emergency, Outpatient and Outreach services
• 74% of patients live outisde the Hospital's local catchment area, with 50% from rural and regional NSW
• Each year the Hospital admits 18,000 critically ill children
• 37,000 children come through our Emergency Department each year
• 24 children undergo surgery at our Hospital everyday

As you can see these statistics are overwhelming and I would welcome any contribution, great or small, that you could make to help me reach my goal!
